Expertise and Offerings

Virtualisation:  This is our core competency and where we have differentiated ourselves from our competitors by being able to offer complete end to end solutions including all hardware, software, implementation and support services. We specialise, hold certification and enterprise partner status with both VMware and Citrix.

All our technical engineers are VMware Certified Professionals (VCP) and Citrix Certified Professionals (CCP).  Our sales staff also know their trade with all staff having completed the VMware and Citrix sales professional certifications.

SAN Implementation:  The SAN hardware is core to any large virtualisation implementation and our staff are trained and certified with all major SAN vendors including EMC, IBM, HP, SUN and Fujitsu.

UNIX Implementation and Support:  VIP staff have over 20 years experience with large corporate UNIX systems including AIX, Solaris, HP-UX and Tru64.  Our open systems UNIX expertise is also comprehensive allowing us to get the most out of any Virtualisation platform.

WINDOWS Implementation and Support:  We hold certification in Microsoft technologies and products allowing us to support and implement any MS based OS or solutions.  These skills allow us to successfully P2V any MS based machines and support and configure Active Directory / Exchange 2007.

NOVELL Implementation and Support:  VIP has become a leader when it comes to the virtualisation of legacy operating systems and our staff have performed many P2V deployments of Novell physical servers.  Our Novell experience allows us to overcome the many problems that are faced when virtualising Novell.

Disaster Recovery:  VIP customers in most cases benefit from a fully virtualised Disaster Recovery facility by implementing virtualisation into a production environment.   VIP have developed custom in house programs and tool sets to allow the automatic replication of production virtual machines to a DR location.

VOIP:  VIP also specialises in the design, implementation and support of various VOIP solutions including Asterisk.

VIP Recent Deployments

VIP have performed large and well recognised virtualisation projects within NZ.  Both with ESX 2, ESX 3 and most recently with the new vSphere 4 version.  All projects have included the procurement and installation of SAN and server hardware.

We use a mixture of full time staff and regular trusted contractors to assist with various projects and initiatives when necessary. This is a strategic approach that enables the company to position itself appropriately with the client whether it be a large national installation or smaller local requirement.
